About
Hemanth received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in December 2021 with a Cooperative Education Program in Engineering Certificate. During his undergraduate studies, he gained work experience at Daimler Trucks Asia as a Mechanical/Application Engineering Intern, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems as a R&D Controls Department Co-op, and at Osaka University's Graduate School of Information Science and Technology as a Mechanical/Robotics Summer Research Intern. Furthermore, he worked as a controls undergraduate researcher at the Birck Nanotechnology Center and Ray W. Herrick Laboratories to develop a Membrane Heat Exchanger System to improve energy efficiency levels in buildings. Between his graduate and undergraduate studies, he worked full-time at Eli Lilly and Company as a process engineer at their headquarters in Indiana. Hemanth is primarily interested in assistive devices, mechatronics, and control systems.
