About

Emily received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in May 2021 with a minor in Global Engineering Studies. During her time at Purdue, she did research in sports biomechanics with Dr. Eric Nauman and interned with Ottobock in Duderstadt, Germany, researching occupational exoskeletons. Emily is interested in the design and control of exoskeletons and orthoses and has been working on projects in these areas with Neurobionics since fall 2021. She recently earned her M.S. in Robotics from the University of Michigan, and interned in the Center for Bionic Medicine at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL.
