About
Kiara graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin (2024). During her time at UT, she served as a Multimedia Innovation Fellow with OnRamps, leading video campaigns and content strategies. She also worked on film productions, including as a Second Assistant Director on Los Mosquitos, where she honed her skills in media production and project coordination. Her international experience with AIESEC allowed her to expand the National University of Singapore chapter's presence and enhance marketing for the global volunteer program, further developing her marketing and leadership skills. Kiara was also the founder of Chispas RGV, a grassroots initiative that creates social events in the Rio Grande Valley to foster community connections. Now, as the Robotics Community & Marketing Coordinator at the University of Michigan Robotics Department, Kiara looks forward to driving outreach and building bridges between robotics innovation and diverse audiences.
