About

Soham is a mechanical engineer currently doing his Master’s at TU Delft. During his undergraduate education, he extensively worked on designing and fabricating porous femoral stems with tailored mechanical properties targeting patients undergoing total hip replacement. After undergraduate, he took a gap year and worked with Prof. Nidhi Seethapathi on evaluating the control strategies runners adopt to maintain stability while running on uneven terrain compared to flat terrain. Before joining the Neurobionics team, he finished his internship at Skelex; an exoskeleton start-up in the Netherlands, where he worked on their shoulder exoskeleton product line, designing a hybrid hinge to toggle between the support modes while doing overhead work.
