About

Zach received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University. While at BYU, he joined the Neuromechanics Lab and researched a new approach for obtaining reliable electromagnetic motion capture data for the upper limb. He also interned at Motion Control Inc. in Salt Lake City working on the design of a safety mechanism for osseointegrated prostheses and a hydraulic slope-adaptive foot. Zach is interested in improving ambulation efficiency through the design and control of robotic prostheses and exoskeletons.
